Exercise & Manual Therapy

Exercise therapy is given so improve movement, strength, flexibility and function. It is dependent on many factors such as clients movement, physical capabilities, body type, and activity level. These are taken into consideration before exercises are prescribed. For certain conditions and diagnoses we will develop a individual home exercise program to aid rehabilitation based on your goals. These are progressed over time and mean that you have to take an active part in your treatment.

Exercises can be given to improve postural alignment.

Manual Therapy – Using many hands on techniques to improve movement, blood flow and decrease pain. Soft tissue work, joint mobilisation, trigger point therapy are some of the techniques Lisa uses on a daily bases with clients.
